CIMS is the new lead for the Community Data Program, Join !

The Social Planning Council of Ottawa through the CIMS project is the new lead organization for the Community Data Program in the Ottawa region. The Community Data Program is or based on a community data consortium model that reduces the cost of acquiring community data such as customized table from Statistics Canada and other providers in order to help community and municipal organizations to monitor and report on social and economic development trends within their communities

2011 Census Data is starting to be available online

Statistics Canada is starting to release the data for the 2011 Census. The last census was in 2006 so it will be good to use census data that is more up to date and to be able to see changes that have happened in our communities since 2006.

Ottawa Francophone Atlas

The Ottawa Francophone Atlas has been released as a joint piece to the Francophone report published by the SPCO.
