Advisory Committees

The project is led by the Social Planning Council of Ottawa, in collaboration with the Social Planning Network of Ontario and the support of the Child and Youth Health Network for Eastern Ontario. The infrastructure is supported by two types of committees:

Standing Advisory Committees

  • Senior Advisory Committee The Senior Advisory Committee operates as a caucus (sub-group) of the Board of the Social Planning Network of Ontario, and provides advice on the project to ensure its’ utility to partner organizations and to leverage decision making support to voluntary and health sector organizations addressing population health issues, with a particular focus on small organizations.
  • Ethics / Data Use / Mapping Advisory Committee The Ethics / Data Use / Mapping Advisory Committee, which advises on good practice in ethics, data use, and web based mapping for public participation GIS projects.

Member Defined Committees

(set up by groups of members by theme or geographic area, as desired)

  • Eastern Ontario CIMS Advisory Committee The Eastern Ontario CIMS Advisory Committee advises on content and use issues of relevance to the Eastern Ontario consortium members and encourages linkages with other community initiatives.
